Joint life first death/joint life last death/joint life both death
This is the basis on which a policy is set up and will determine when the policy will cease or the sum assured will be paid. Depending on which version has been chosen, the policy will cease/sum assured will be paid upon the death of either the first life assured or the death of the last life assured.
